Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a friendly Customer Service Associate to join our National City, CA store. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and presentable.

This part-time role emphasizes safe cash handling, a positive customer experience, and teamwork with managers and associates. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, and you must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience in related environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
