Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Associate who helps deliver a friendly shopping experience at our store. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help keep shelves stocked and the store clean and inviting.

The role requires the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, follow store procedures, and communicate effectively with customers and peers. This is a part-time position located on site, offering opportunities to grow with our team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
