Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, manage sales transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
