Qualifications

• BSPharm or PharmD from ACPE-accredited School or College of Pharmacy.
• Current pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Missouri: Medication Therapy Services Certificate within 90 days of hire (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process medication orders to ensure appropriate dosing, scheduling, route of administration, and therapeutic use.
• Identify, prevent, and resolve medication-related issues, including drug interactions, duplications, allergies, and contraindications.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapies.
• Oversee preparation, labeling, dispensing, and delivery of medications.
• Provide medication counseling and drug information to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Respond to complex medication and therapy-related inquiries.
• Ensure accuracy of medications prepared by technicians and support staff.
• Supervise pharmacy staff in the absence of the pharmacy manager.

Education
