Job summary

Goodwill South Florida in Sunrise, FL is seeking a part-time retail teammate to support donations processing, cashiering, stocking and customer service in a busy store environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and some related experience, with the ability to work nights and weekends. You will handle transactions, assist customers, and help keep the store clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• 6 months related experience or training desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior cashiering experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of electronic devices.

Responsibilities

• Receive donations: greet donors, accept and unload items, enter donor info, and thank donors.
• Processing: sort, separate, and hang clothing and household items.
• Sort, test, clean, and mark small appliances, housewares, shoes, seasonal items, and other merchandise.
• Cashiering: conduct sales transactions and manage cash/credit card transactions per procedures.
• Cleaning duties: bathrooms, floors, shelves, windows, break room, fixtures, fitting rooms, dock area, exterior, counters.
• Report issues needing maintenance repairs.
• Customer service activities: assist customers, price items, provide recycling bags, explain store ops.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
