Job summary

Michaels Destin, FL store is hiring for a customer-focused team member to help customers find products and provide solutions. You will handle a fast checkout, process cash transactions, and engage customers in the Rewards program and private label credit card enrollments.

You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and maintaining a well-merchandised store. The role requires standing, lifting, and potential evenings/weekends, with full-time hours typical in retail environments.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the VOC survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including return/go back process and store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully and be a role model.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
