Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a role focused on delivering a highly satisfactory customer experience across TJ Maxx stores.

You will engage with customers, maintain a clean and organized store, and adhere to operational standards while supporting multiple areas of the business as needed. Responsibilities include ringing transactions, promoting credit and loyalty programs, ensuring proper merchandising, and participating in store recovery and safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains merchandising philosophy and follows procedures and standards.
• Prepares merchandise for the sales floor following procedures.
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and order of the sales floor and store.
• Provides and accepts feedback; adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Supports store shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
