Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic store associate to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a clean, organized sales floor.

You will engage with customers, promote programs, handle transactions, and support inventory and safety standards across TJ Maxx and related brands. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills, with retail experience and a willingness to adapt to various store areas.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills required
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to changing directions
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation
• Works well with peers and supervisors
• Retail customer experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer
• Supports credit and loyalty programs
• Maintains merchandising standards and processes merchandise for the sales floor
• Participates in store recovery and cleanliness throughout the day
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and safety procedures
• Supports shrink reduction goals and safety initiatives
• Other duties as assigned
