Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Fremont, CA. You will help open/close procedures, organize merchandise, and supervise store associates to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment.

Core duties include enforcing company policies, processing payroll/scheduling, and contributing to loss prevention. This role requires strong communication and hands-on leadership in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
