Job summary

Choice Hotels International is seeking a Part-Time Restaurant Server to deliver food and beverage service and ensure 100% guest satisfaction in our on-site restaurant.

You will take orders, prepare meals for presentation, maintain clean tables, and manage beverage stations while handling POS transactions and cash responsibly. The role requires excellent communication, organization, and a customer-first attitude, with flexibility to work 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with POS system and accurately handle cash and guest credit cards.
• Must be 18 years, or older for alcohol service.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and anticipate customer demands.
• Highly organized – demonstrate ability to proactively prioritize needs, put first things first, and effectively manage resources and time.

Responsibilities

• Provides food and beverage service to guests in the restaurant and has comprehensive understanding of menu choices.
• Prepares order for presentation to guest.
• Cleans and prepares tables for guest use.
• Sets up beverage stations for appropriate shift by brewing coffee and setting out condiments, as appropriate.
