MercyOne Health System in Dubuque, IA is seeking a part‑time Respiratory Therapist to evaluate patients, administer therapies, and coordinate with care teams. The successful candidate will handle a range of respiratory services including ventilator support, ABG analysis, and patient education.

New grads are welcome, and a relocation package is offered. Candidates must meet Iowa licensure requirements, BLS, and complete mandated reporter training within three months of hire.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a CAAHEP-accredited respiratory care program.
• Credential as RN or RT by NBRC and state licensure in Iowa.
• BLS certification within three months of hire.
• Must complete mandated reporter abuse training within three months.

Responsabilités

• Perform inhaled medication therapy and arterial blood gas analysis.
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment and ventilators.
• Assist CPR, intubation, and patient transport as needed.
• Interpret diagnostic results and document in medical records.
• Provide patient instruction on respiratory devices and therapies.
