MercyOne Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for day shift responsibilities in a full-time role. You will assess patients, administer therapies, perform diagnostic testing, and coordinate with care teams across age groups including neonates to geriatrics.

Join the MercyOne Family! As Respiratory Therapist you will perform patient assessment, evaluation for appropriate therapy, administration of therapy, consultation with other health care providers, diagnostic testing, implementation and troubleshooting of equipment and monitoring of patient. These services are provided as appropriate for patient age to include neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric adult.
Must be credentialed as a certified or registered respiratory therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire. Must have an active license as a respiratory care practitioner in the State of Iowa upon hire. Must be BLS certified within 3 months of hire. Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter. Prefer ACLS certification within one year of hire.
