Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Ontario, OR is seeking a Part-Time Mixed Shift Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the Respiratory Therapy team. The role requires independent clinical judgment and active mentorship of staff while participating in multidisciplinary rounds.

The position offers a 24-hour weekly schedule on a rotating shift, with potential sign-on and relocation incentives for qualifying candidates and Day 1 benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold Oregon respiratory care license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC.
• BLS required at hire; ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS; NRP/ACLS/PALS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency respiratory procedures including ventilator management and diagnostics.
• Provide airway care and advanced interventions per physician orders and protocols.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and mentor new and existing staff.
• Assist with arterial line placement, ABG analysis and interpretation.
• Complete mandatory training and maintain competency per department standards.
