Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Ontario, OR is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Nights Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the Respiratory Therapy team. The role provides both routine and emergency respiratory therapy, including ventilator management, pulmonary diagnostics, airway care, and advanced procedures with physician orders.

Schedule is 36 hours per week on night shift (6pm–6:30am). Ontario offers outdoor activities and is within reach of Boise.

Qualifications

• License to practice respiratory care in the state where services are performed (Oregon).
• NBRC-registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS may substitute for BLS.
• NRP, ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months.
• Additional SAHS certifications may be required per crosswalk.

Responsabilités

• Administer routine and emergency respiratory therapy, including ventilator management.
• Perform pulmonary diagnostics, airway care, bronchoscopy assistance, ABG analysis.
• Conduct intubation, CPR, and arterial line placement as directed.
• Routinely participate in multidisciplinary rounds and rounds with physicians.
• Act as a preceptor and support the development of staff.

Formation

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) NBRC

Oregon license to practice respiratory care

BLS required; ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS

NRP; ACLS; PALS within 6 months

Other SAHS certifications as crosswalked
