Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Ontario, OR is seeking a Part-Time Mixed Shift Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the Respiratory Therapy team. The role involves routine and emergency therapy including ventilator management, diagnostics, and airway care, with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.

Eligible for sign-on and relocation incentives; Day 1 benefits are offered. Schedule is 24 hours per week on a rotating shift, in Ontario, Oregon.

Qualifications

• State license to practice respiratory care in Oregon.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross required at hire (ACLS/PALS may be accepted).
• NRP, ACLS and PALS required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency respiratory therapy procedures including ventilator management.
• Conduct pulmonary diagnostics and airway care as ordered.
• Assist with intubation, CPR, bronchoscopy support as needed.
• Mentor new and existing staff and participate in multidisciplinary rounds.
• Complete all mandatory training on time.
• Monitor patient status and adjust care per departmental protocols.
