Job summary

Mercy South is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide direct patient care under physician orders. This part-time role supports cardiopulmonary services and serves as a clinical resource for the care team.

Responsibilities include evaluating therapies, consulting physicians, and collaborating with nursing staff. Eligible candidates may have ACLS preferred licensure and critical care experience, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for RRTs.

Qualifications

• Education: CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Certifications: NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); PALS for ER staff.
• Other: Physical demands include lifting and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in respiratory therapy as ordered by physicians.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
