Job summary

Mercy South is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to deliver direct patient care under physician orders and consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness. The role serves as an advanced resource for respiratory care and supports the care team.

Part Time - 24 hours/week, 6:30p-7:00a, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for RRTs. Education requirements include a CoArc-approved program; licensure and NBRC RRT credential are required; ACLS/PALS may be needed in the ER.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• RRT credential required; PALS may be required in ER. ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care under physician orders.
• Consult with physicians on effectiveness of therapy and act as a resource for staff.
• Carry out duties as assigned and collaborate with the care team.
