Job summary

Mercy South is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to deliver direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy under physician orders. This part-time role (24 hours/week, 6:30p-7:00a) offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for RRTs and opportunities to work with a skilled clinical team.

The ideal candidate will have a CoARC-approved program education, a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license, NBRC RRT credential, ACLS, and preferred critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by NBRC. For ER, PALS is required.
• Physical demands include push, pull and grip up to 50 lbs; pinch up to 10 lbs; kneel, crouch, crawl as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, per physician orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
