Unifi Healthcare seeks a Respiratory Therapist to deliver high‑quality respiratory care across clinical settings. You will work directly with patients and care teams to prioritize patient wellbeing.

Responsibilities include assessing respiratory status, administering therapies, collaborating on care plans, and maintaining accurate documentation in a fast‑paced environment such as Level I centers or EDs.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT).
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in emergency medicine or acute care settings is desirable.
• Familiarity with pulmonology concepts and medication protocols.
• Ability to assess patients accurately with compassionate care for diverse populations.
• Strong teamwork skills in high‑pressure environments.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ respiratory status through detailed evaluation of vital signs, oxygen levels, and physical examination findings.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments including nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and aerosol medications with precision and care.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Conduct patient assessments to determine the need for respiratory interventions; monitor responses to treatments and adjust therapies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient responses, medication administration, and vital signs in compliance with policies.

Requirements

• Valid licensure as a Respiratory Therapist from the appropriate state licensing board. We are open to both CRT and RRT.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are preferred.
• Experience working in emergency medicine or acute care settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with pulmonology concepts, medication administration protocols, and medical terminology relevant to respiratory therapy.
• Ability to perform patient assessments accurately while maintaining a compassionate approach for pediatrics, geriatrics, and diverse patient populations.
