Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of respiratory therapies. Qualifications

• Associate degree or CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner and RRT.
• BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures per established standards; troubleshoot as needed.

Job description

The role requires applying advanced clinical expertise, serving as a resource to the healthcare team, and ensuring patient safety through developmentally appropriate care while adhering to quality and regulatory standards.

• Effective communication, documentation, and collaborative teamwork.
• Providing education and training on respiratory treatments to patients, families, and staff.
• Performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to established standards, troubleshooting as needed.
• Demonstrating advanced skills such as ECMO support, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, sleep lab, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
• Seeking continuous learning and feedback, managing multiple duties effectively.

Qualifications include an Associate degree or CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program, licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner and RRT, and BLS certification. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree.
