Job summary

York Beach Residence Club in York, Maine is seeking a welcoming, team-oriented front desk associate for year-round, part-time hours. The role covers guest check-ins/outs, room assignments, payments, keys, and handling guest inquiries with a focus on service excellence.

You will work Mondays and Tuesdays with flexibility to cover additional weekdays and weekends as needed, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D.; or one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Vocational School Degree or Business Certification

Responsibilities

• Processes all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests.
• Secures payment and activates/reissues room keys.
• Ensures rates match established codes and documents exceptions.
• Coordinates with Housekeeping to track room status and guest concerns.
• Answers calls, provides directions, and ensures guest satisfaction.
• Counts and secures bank at the start and end of the shift.
