Job summary

SRG Residential in San Francisco is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support a 147-unit community at Venue. The role covers turnover, routine maintenance, and resident requests while maintaining essential common areas and equipment.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years across trades, reads and interprets work orders, and demonstrates strong customer service. Weekend work is required; schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. Eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in all trades (electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, appliances, etc.)
• Knowledge and skill in performing quality work; able to use required tools and machinery; professional interaction with co-workers, residents and vendors; OSHA knowledge; MSDS knowledge
• Ability to read and interpret service orders and documents; present information and respond to questions
• High school diploma or GED, technical school, or 3–6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent customer service skills a must
• Ability to work weekends required

Responsibilities

• Works in turnover and renovation units; responds to maintenance service requests
• Performs external and internal repairs (drywall, painting, plumbing, HVAC, appliances)
• Participates in emergency and after-hours coverage as required
• Operates machine tools to repair or fabricate parts
• Fabricates and repairs cabinets, counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures
• Maintains inventory and related paperwork
• Keeps storage facilities and equipment in working condition
