Evergreen Real Estate Services in Williston, VT is seeking a Maintenance I team member to support upkeep and safety of the community by completing routine maintenance tasks, turnovers, and preventative maintenance under supervision.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma or GED, 0-2 years of property maintenance experience, and the ability to read instructions and safety procedures. Expect 24-28 hours per week, handling basic repairs, grounds tasks, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of general property maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in residential or multifamily environments is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, safety procedures, and work orders.
• Familiarity with common tools and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical repairs.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and escalate complex repairs.
• Replace light bulbs, screens, hardware, and small fixtures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC units and water heaters.
• Assist scheduling vendor work as directed.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Support make-ready, cleaning, painting, and appliance repairs for turnovers.
• Keep exterior areas clean and perform seasonal grounds tasks.
• Report hazards and assist in inspections.
