Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for a residential building in New York, NY. You will be the visible, welcoming presence at the front desk, manage access, and ensure safety for residents and visitors.

The role offers weekend evening shifts (Sat and Sun 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM) with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Minimums: 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles, HS diploma, background check and drug screen per policy. Allied Universal promotes equal opportunity employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors at the front desk of a residential condominium community.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitors and deliveries according to site-specific policies, and maintain accurate visitor and package records.
• Respond to resident inquiries, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Observe lobby and entry activity, report suspicious or unauthorized activity, and help to deter security-related concerns through a professional presence.
• Communicate clearly with residents, property management, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, requests, and site-related information.
