Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed) in New York, NY. You will patrol government residential services locations, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible presence on site.

Day and night shifts are available in a part-time role. The position requires a NYS Security Guard License, at least 1 year of security experience, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Requires NYS Security Guard License.
• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and partner agencies following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report irregularities to staff.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
