Job summary

Integral Care in Travis County, Texas, is seeking a part-time Crisis Residential Caseworker Assistant to assist, observe and supervise residents, support daily care routines, and help with safety checks and engagement in programming. This role emphasizes trauma-informed practice and crisis intervention within a therapeutic setting.

The position requires working 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Saturdays and Sundays, with potential for additional shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Preferred experience working with adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Assist, observe and supervise residents to maintain safety and provide care.
• Perform rehabilitative direct client-care tasks and support daily routines.
• Foster positive interactions, engage residents in programming, and assist in crisis de-escalation.
• Work under supervision within a therapeutic care environment and respond to crisis as needed.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of the position is to assist, observe and supervise residents in order to maintain appropriate safety care and guidance with some ability to perform rehabilitative direct client-care work, assisting adolescent individuals with mental health and/or substance use diagnosis with their daily care needs and routines, to include safety checks, observing clients' self-administration of medication, cooking, cleaning, support with attending and engaging in programming milieu, etc. The position requires staff to foster, motivate and promote positive interactions and intervene in crisis de-escalation as well as encourage clients' participation in social and developmental activities within the program perimeters. This work is performed under the supervision of the residential care manager alongside the unit leadership, Practice Manager, RN Supervisor, and/or Practice Administrator. The crisis residential caseworker assistant must be able to work independently, under the direction of the supervisor(s), within a team dynamic and structure of the therapeutic environment of care.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

License:

• Current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record.

Experience:

Preferred:

• Experience working with adolescents.

Hours:

Part-Time.

Workhours:

8:00PM - 6:00AM.

Workdays:

Saturday-Sunday.

Salary:

$22.15 an hour,plus an additional 10% crisis stipend.

Position may be eligible for an additional shift differential pay.

• Second Shift: $3.25/hour.
• Third Shift: $7.25/hour.
