Job summary

Related Affordable is seeking a Part-Time Resident Service Coordinator to empower residents by connecting them with essential services and fostering a strong community within one of our largest affordable housing communities.

You will coordinate access to resources, educate residents, and collaborate with management to ensure timely delivery of support while maintaining confidential records and delivering measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Public Health, or related field preferred; relevant work experience may substitute.
• 2+ years experience in resident/social service programs, preferably in affordable housing.
• Knowledge of local community resources and federal/state programs.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and navigate sensitive issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assistance to residents by identifying and connecting them to appropriate services.
• Educate residents and families on services, eligibility criteria, and application processes.
• Organize activities to encourage resident engagement and community building.
• Liaise between residents, property management, and external service providers.
• Maintain confidential resident files and prepare quarterly summaries.
