Job summary

Qualifications

• MLS or working towards a master's degree in library science from an ALA accredited institution with degree completion by date of hire.
• Experience in providing research support and library instruction.
• Familiarity with electronic resources/databases and virtual reference tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and virtual research desk services.
• Create and maintain research guides and online tutorials.
• Instruct patrons in research methods and resource use; teach research sessions as needed.
• Conduct library rounds and compile usage statistics.
• Assist with circulation and supervising student workers; participate in building operations.
