Job summary

University of Utah Health seeks hourly research assistants (work-study) to support a rehabilitation study across aging populations. You will enroll participants, track retention and compliance, and perform data collection activities, interacting with patients and other research staff on the study team.

This role offers exposure to clinical research with NIH-aligned procedures, patient interaction, and basic data management, with a day shift and campus-based work on our Salt Lake City campus.

Qualifications

• This position requires excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Completion of University RATS Clinical Certification within one year of hire required.
• Completion of CITI Human Subjects and Good Clinical Practice Training within one month of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Enroll participants and track retention with follow-up assessments.
• Perform data collection activities and interact with patients and study team.
• Coordinate and support clinical research activities under supervision.
