Job summary

The University of Utah College of Health and Department of Physical Therapy & Athletic Training are seeking individuals to support a study evaluating rehabilitation across aging populations. The primary responsibilities include enrolling participants, tracking retention and follow-up assessments, and performing data collection activities with patients and study staff.

Qualifications

• Completion of University RATS Clinical Certification within one year of hire required.
• Completion of CITI Human Subjects and Good Clinical Practice Training within one month of hire required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices, HIPAA and IRB regulations; an understanding of research procedures; and the ability to function independently is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software programs.
• Experience with RedCap.

Responsibilities

• Enroll participants, track retention and follow-up assessments and perform data collection activities.
• Interact with patients and with other research staff on the study team.
• Coordinate, manage, and implement clinical research.
