Job summary

The University of Utah Health seeks an hourly Research Assistant to support clinical and community-based studies. You will screen participants, collect and enter data, and assist with cycling classes and assessments under PI and Research Coordinator supervision.

Responsibilities cover consent, regulatory compliance, data management, and on-site data collection across multiple locations in the valley. Training and supervision are provided for accuracy and protocol adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field is preferred.
• Experience with human subjects research is beneficial.
• Comfort working with participants and data in research settings.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment, screening, and retention of study participants.
• Informed consent and regulatory compliance under supervision.
• Conduct in-person study visits at multiple sites across the valley.
• Lead or assist with exercise sessions for study participants.
• Enter and verify study data using REDCap or similar tools.
• Support manuscript, abstracts, and progress report preparation.
• Coordinate study team schedules and logistics across sites.
