Job summary

Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) seeks a Technology Project Manager (Part-Time) to support the Technology team. The role is a 1099 contractor in New York or remote within the US, roughly 20 hours per week with an initial 3-month term and possible extension.

The PM will manage small-to-medium technology initiatives across departments. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of project management experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with PM tools like

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of project management experience.
• Experience managing technology, systems, operations, or process improvement projects.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.

Responsibilities

• Manage small-to-medium technology and operational projects from planning through completion.
• Maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and status reporting.
• Coordinate stakeholders across business and technology teams.
• Facilitate meetings and drive accountability for action items.
• Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate activities with vendors and implementation partners and track deliverables.
• Ensure projects remain on track and aligned with objectives.
• Communicate project status, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders regularly.
