Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) seeks a mission-driven Technology Project Manager to support rapid digital transformation and operational growth. Reporting to the CTO, this hybrid NY-based role will shape technology priorities and deliver impactful solutions across fundraising, finance, marketing, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6+ years of project management and/or business analysis experience, ideally within a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
• Strong understanding of major enterprise platforms (CRM, ERP, digital engagement, reporting tools).
• Proficiency in project management tools (Asana, Jira, Monday, Microsoft Project, or similar).
• Demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects and engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Empathetic, collaborative leadership with a growth mindset and strong stakeholder management.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects (CRMups, infrastructure upgrades, integrations, workflow automation, reporting, and digital tools).
• Define and manage project charters, scopes, budgets, timelines, and resource allocations.
• Champion standardized project management practices, tools, templates, and documentation across the organization.
• Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and consultants to ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables.
• Track progress, manage risks, and provide clear updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support change management and user adoption strategies for new systems and enhancements.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to gather and document business needs and functional requirements.
• Translate business objectives into actionable technical specifications for developers and vendors.
• Facilitate user testing, training, and post-implementation support.
