Job summary

ABEC Inc. is seeking a part-time Remote Recruiter (20 hours per week) to help build our Bethlehem, PA area team. Ideal candidate resides within reasonable distance for occasional onsite visits and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with managers, source talent across boards and events, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and maintain a strong candidate pipeline while upholding EEO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of recruiting or HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or higher-volume recruiting.
• Experience with sourcing tools, ATS systems, and recruiting best practices.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive mindset and passion for finding the right people for the right opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and HR to understand staffing needs and create effective recruiting strategies.
• Source talent through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, community outreach, and events.
• Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and maintain a strong pipeline for manufacturing, skilled labor, or other roles as assigned.
• Build relationships with candidates while providing timely, professional communication.
• Represent our company at career fairs, workforce events, and community programs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement processes to enhance the candidate experience.
• Ensure recruiting practices align with company policies and EEO standards.
