Job summary

Northwest ADHD Treatment Center is seeking a part-time Peer Wellness Specialist to support recovery and resiliency among patients. The role is offsite/ virtual, with on-site option, and initial hours may be as few as 4 per week, rising to 8.

You will work under the Director of Behavioral Health to connect individuals with services, provide health literacy resources, and help develop a self-directed path to wellness, during an integration phase of about 3 months.

Qualifications

• Lived mental health experience relevant to the peer wellness specialist role.
• Certification as a Peer Wellness Specialist in Oregon required or per state rules.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in identifying mental health service needs through community outreach.
• Assist individuals in accessing services and address barriers to care.
• Provide education on health and wellness to promote health literacy and self-determination.
• Engage in direct services to help individuals create and maintain a self-directed recovery path.
