Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a part-time Reviewer for English to evaluate student project submissions using a rubric and provide constructive feedback. This remote role requires online teaching experience and a demonstrated ability to support students, collaborating with deans and participating in virtual meetings.

The position offers flexible hours, remote work from approved states, and the chance to help learners achieve mastery in their projects.

Qualifications

• Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing; master's in English, Technical Writing, or Journalism; or another graduate degree with clear specialization in writing, rhetoric, or composition.
• Demonstrated experience in competency-based education.
• Online teaching experience at least one year.

Responsabilités

• Use rubrics and feedback to provide fair, encouraging evaluations.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of curriculum within assigned workload.
• Respond to student outreach and return evaluations within 48 hours.
• Collaborate with Associate Deans to assist students in need of academic support.
• Check SNHU email daily before evaluations.
• Log work hours in the university system.
• Join Reviewer online community and participate in meetings.
• Support academic integrity validation and potential violations processing.
• Participate in quality assurance and project improvement activities.
• Protect student privacy.
