The opportunity

As a Reviewer for English, working part-time, you will evaluate student project submissions using a pre-existing rubric designed specifically for each project. Along with the rubric evaluation, you'll provide feedback that is specific, applicable, and supportive addressing any areas of the project that require improvement and resubmission to demonstrate mastery. You will encourage students to ask questions. Additionally, Reviewers work with the deans, participate in group meetings, and sometimes work in virtual teams with peers on special projects. This is a remote position.

What we’re looking for:

• Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing; master's in English, Technical Writing, or Journalism; or another graduate degree with clear specialization in writing, rhetoric, or composition.
• Demonstrated experience in competency-based education
• Online teaching experience at least one year

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $23.93 - $38.27. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $26.43 - $35.76.
