Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, seeks an experienced Aviation Attorney for a fully remote, part-time engagement. The role supports aviation contracts and airport operations with a focus on risk assessment and negotiation.

The ideal candidate has aviation law experience, familiarity with FAA requirements, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment. Dallas-area candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated aviation legal experience is required.
• Familiarity with aviation operations and airport-related transactions.
• Working knowledge of FAA contractual requirements and regulatory considerations impacting airport and aviation operations.
• Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and issue-spotting skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review, redline, and negotiate aviation-related contracts supporting operational, leasing, and vendor relationships.
• Provide legal support for airport operations, including procurement, concessions, vendor agreements, and facility-related transactions.
• Advise on contract structures and risk considerations specific to the aviation and airport operations environment.
• Ensure agreements comply with applicable FAA contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal business and operational stakeholders to support ongoing aviation operations.
