Job summary

North Bend School District 13 is seeking a part-time remedial reading instructor for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year. This temporary position involves 10 hours per week and focuses on reading, writing, and mathematics support for identified students.

Under Title I supervision, you will assess needs, develop lesson plans, deliver targeted instruction, monitor progress, and maintain records. Certification and a strong foundation in literacy pedagogy are essential.

Qualifications

• Oregon State Teaching Certification with Reading Endorsement.
• Bachelor's degree in education; Master's preferred.
• Experience with remedial reading/writing/math.

Responsibilities

• Teaches remedial reading, writing and mathematics to identified students.
• Assesses student needs and tracks progress with records.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials aligned to standards.
• Coordinates with staff and provides remedial strategies for teachers.
• Maintains accurate reporting and communicates with families.
