Idaho Falls School District 91 is seeking a Title I Tutor at Edgemont Elementary to support reading and math progress. You will administer assessments, identify instructional needs with teachers, and provide targeted tutoring to students requiring extra support.

The position is part-time (28.75 hours per week) with wages per the Classified Salary Schedule, Grade 5 level, with the option of higher pay for a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience. Regular attendance is expected.

Qualificações

• Minimum 48 college credits or a minimum score of 457 on the ParaPro Praxis.
• Ability to pronounce vowels, consonants, phrases, and words phonetically.
• Ability to administer standardized and other diagnostic tests.
• Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed.
• Ability to work with staff, students, and the public.
• Computer knowledge and experience with word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, etc.

Responsabilidades

• Administers reading and math tests to identify the level of student achievement.
• Works with the classroom teacher and Building Administrator to determine instructional needs of each Title I student.
• Works with small groups of students and with individual students in reading and math.
• Maintains student files to track progress per state and federal guidelines.
• Assists Federal Programs Office in data reporting for state/federal agencies.
• Attends in-service classes and district meetings.
• Prepares tutoring area and learning materials.
• Attends Parent Teacher Conferences for Title I students.
