Job summary

Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (IBJI) in North Aurora, IL, is hiring a part-time Rehabilitation Technician for 20 hours per week to support therapists in an orthopedic rehab setting. The role focuses on assisting with exercise programs, preparing equipment, and delivering quality patient care.

Under supervision in the Rehab Services Division, you’ll help with front desk tasks, patient flow, and clinic maintenance while upholding HIPAA and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student or have a High School Degree.
• Must be available for 20 hours per week, variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to therapy patients, therapists, physician staff, and clients.
• Daily clinic maintenance: cleaning tables, changing linen, stocking supplies.
• Keep exercise equipment orderly and safe for patients.
• Daily, weekly and monthly checks of maintenance tasks to stay compliant with IBJI guidelines.
• Act as an extender to the therapists; assist with exercise programs and setup.
• Communicate observations to therapists during the patient’s exercise program.
• Take initiative in assisting clinicians with patient care.
• Print home exercise programs for patients under clinician direction.
• Inventory of clinical and non-clinical materials.
• Front desk duties: check in patients, scheduling, co-pays, scanning, answering the phone.
