Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC (IBJI) seeks a part-time Rehabilitation Services Technician at Homer Glen to assist clinicians in orthopedic care and patient exercise programs. The role focuses on delivering quality patient care, clinic maintenance, and collaborative support for therapists and staff.

Responsibilities include patient check-ins, equipment setup, documentation, and inventory, with a strong emphasis on service, safety, and HIPAA compliance in a busy rehab setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Availability to work Part-Time (20 Hours).
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and communication to therapy patients, therapists, physician staff, and clients in a fast paced orthopedic rehab office.
• Daily clinic maintenance: clean treatment tables and equipment, change linens, stock supplies.
• Keep exercise equipment orderly and accessible while ensuring patient safety.
• Regular checks of maintenance tasks to stay compliant with IBJI guidelines.
• Assist clinicians with carrying out exercise programs for patients, including setup on equipment and modalities.
• Communicate observations to the therapist during patient exercise sessions.
• Take initiative to assist clinicians with patient care.
• Print home exercise programs for patients under clinician direction.
• Inventory of clinical and non-clinical materials.
• Support front desk duties: check in patients, schedule appointments, take co-pays, scanning, phone.
• Provide daily support to rehab staff and management.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient identity.
• Work with patients regardless of diagnosis, age, or background.
• Demonstrate professionalism with reliable attendance and flexible hours.
• All other duties as assigned.
