Job summary

Stars Behavioral Health Group is seeking a Part Time Rehabilitation Aide for the Fresno Youth Psychiatric Health Facility. The role supports youth aged 12–17 with acute psychiatric symptoms, leading activities and modeling positive behaviors in a 24/7 inpatient setting.

The RA will document daily progress, participate in team meetings, and help youths develop daily living and self-care skills. Starting compensation is $23.00–$24.00 per hour, with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with seriously emotionally disturbed adolescents.
• Experience leading groups and providing supportive feedback.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation of daily activities and behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead both large and small group activities for adolescents.
• Encourage positive behavior and provide guidance to youth.
• Help adolescents develop self‑help skills (eating, hygiene, grooming, social interactions, daily activities).
• Serve as a positive role model and respond appropriately in various situations.
• Document daily activities and participate in shift rounds and treatment team meetings to support care.
