Stars Behavioral Health Group in Fresno, CA is seeking a Part-Time Recovery Counselor (AM) for a 24/7 inpatient program. You will support adults with daily living skills and lead group activities during the Friday–Saturday AM shift, 6:00am–2:30pm.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with six months direct care experience preferred. CPR/First Aid/ProAct within 30 days and a CA driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Six months direct care experience in mental health preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, and ProAct certifications required within 30 days.
• Valid California Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living skills including eating, hygiene, grooming, and other care needs.
• Monitors attendance and encourages participation in activities and therapeutic programs.
• Leads group activities and outings, promoting positive social interaction.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the medical record and participates in team meetings.

Monitors attendance and encourages participation in activities and therapeutic programs using positive motivation and support. Helps lead group activities and outings, promotes positive social interaction among clients, and serves as a positive role model.
