Job summary

Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (IBJI) seeks a part-time Rehabilitation Service Technician to support clinicians in a fast-paced orthopedic rehab office. You will help with exercise programs, clinic maintenance, front-desk tasks, and patient care under supervision.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, time management, HIPAA compliance, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Evening or weekend shifts may be required; onboarding includes training on IBJI guidelines and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Must be currently enrolled in school or a high school graduate.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and communication to therapy patients, therapists, physician staff, and clients in a fast paced orthopedic rehab office.
• Daily clinic maintenance: including cleaning treatment tables and equipment, stocking supplies and linen.
• Act as an extender to the therapists; assist clinicians with carrying out exercise programs for patients and setting up equipment.
• Follow best practice procedures for front desk duties: checking in patients, scheduling appointments, taking co-pays, scanning, answering the phone.
