Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist. This part-time, 16 hours/week position performs respiratory therapy services and supports coordination of patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include delivering respiratory care with sound clinical judgment, communicating effectively with the care team, and continually updating knowledge on patient conditions and treatments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program.
• Registered through NBRC.
• Licensed in the state of Delaware or valid temporary license as RRT.
• Certified in BLS.

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory treatment modalities per policies to ensure continuity of care.
• Delivers and delegates respiratory care to inpatients and outpatients with sound judgement.
• Identifies and utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to care delivery.
• Seeks knowledge about patient conditions and documents it for discussion.
