Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a part-time respiratory therapist to perform respiratory treatment modalities in accordance with established policies and procedures. The role involves delivering respiratory care to both inpatients and outpatients, charting observations, and collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe, effective patient care.

A valid PA license and NBRC registration are required, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Requires AMA approved respiratory therapy program completion.
• Must be NBRC registered.
• Licensed in PA or valid temporary license as an RRT; NBRC registered.
• Certified in BLS.

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory treatment modalities per established policies and procedures.
• Delivers and delegates respiratory care to inpatients and outpatients with sound judgment.
• Charts observations and patient assessments accurately and timely (Focus Charting, e-MARs).
• Identifies and uses a multidisciplinary approach to facilitate care delivery.
• Continues to learn about patient conditions and treatments and reflects this in care and documentation.
