Job summary

Trinity Health's Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware, is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the day shift on a part-time basis (16 hours per week). The role involves delivering respiratory care to inpatients and outpatients in accordance with policies and procedures.

Qualified candidates must graduate from an AMA-approved respiratory therapy program, be NBRC registered, hold a Delaware license (or valid temporary license), and be BLS certified.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program.
• Registered through NBRC.
• Licensed in the state of Delaware or valid temporary license and Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Certified in BLS.

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory treatment modalities in conformance with established policies and procedures.
• Delivers and delegates respiratory care to inpatients and outpatients.
• Identifies and utilizes multidisciplinary approach to facilitate delivery of care.
• Seeks knowledge related to patient’s condition, disease entity or treatment and reflect this in patient care and documentation.

Location: Saint Francis Hospital - Wilmington, DE

Shift

• Every third weekend day shift
• Occasionally, this role will cover Tuesday - Thursday 8:00 am - 3:30 pm when certain tests are scheduled for outpatient.

Position Purpose

This person will be responsible for performing respiratory treatment modalities in conformance with established policies and procedures. Communicates appropriate information so that continuity of care can be provided.

As an RRT, you will:

• Performs respiratory treatment modalities in conformance with established policies and procedures. Communicates appropriate information so that continuity of care can be provided.
• Delivers and delegates respiratory care to bothinpatients and outpatients that demonstrates both knowledge of facts and sound judgement.
• Identifies and appropriately utilizes multidiscipline approach to facilitate delivery ofCare.
• Seeks knowledge in relation to patient’scondition, disease entity or treatment and reflect this in patient care and documentation and team conference.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program.
• Registered through NBRC
• Licensed in the state of Delaware or valid temporary license and Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Certified in BLS.
