Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join the Meadowbrook, PA healthcare team. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and improve quality of life in line with patient goals. Typically scheduled 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities include providing nutritional guidance to the care team, adhering to professional standards, and collaborating across departments to enhance dining services and nutrition programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and nutrition-related policies.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement programs.
