Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at Meadowbrook, PA. You will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions to maintain nutritional status, and enhance quality of life aligned with patient goals.

Typical schedule is 24 hours per week. You will collaborate with the health care team, educate patients and staff on nutrition, and participate in continuous quality improvement programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the CDR or meets the Academy eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments in setting up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participating in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
